📢 Welcome, Reese Rogers, to Wapakoneta City Schools! 📢
Reese will be joining Cridersville Elementary as an intervention specialist for the 2025-26 school year! 🎉 He’s entering his second year of teaching after graduating from Wright State University in 2024.
Fun fact: Reese is a huge sports fan and loves attending Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals games! ⚾🏈
He’s excited to be part of a district that values student growth and is looking forward to building meaningful connections with his students.

📢 Welcome to Wapakoneta City Schools, Ashley Gross! 🍎
We are thrilled to introduce Ashley Gross as the newest member of our CES team! 🎉 She will be an Intervention Specialist and is excited to continue to work with our amazing students and families.
From Ms. Gross:
I received my bachelor’s degree in speech language pathology from The University of Toledo. I later decided to go back for my intervention specialist license at The University of Findlay, where I also received my master’s in education. Overall I have about 9 years of experience in education, with 5 of those years specifically teaching. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and pets and travel. I am excited to join WCS and continue help students learn and grow to the best of their abilities!

The Auglaize County Board of Developmental Disabilities made a visit to Cridersville Elementary School recently to celebrate Developmental Disability Awareness Month. Wednesday March 26 will be a regular school day for students in grades K-8 and grade 10. Students in grades 9, 11 and 12 will be on a 2-hour delay as grades 8 and 10 complete state testing.
There was originally a 2-hr delay for the purpose of staff pd. That has been cancelled.
