Dear Community Members,
This is a reminder that we will be honoring all of our Veterans and active duty military members this Friday at our home football game vs. Celina. Each Veteran/military member will be admitted at no charge. Guests will need to purchase tickets. Please meet me (Aaron Rex) on the track in front of the homeside grandstand by 6:30 PM. You will have seating in the North end zone for the entire game. You are welcome to sit there for the length of the game, or in the stands after the recognition. At approximately 6:50 we will be displaying a large flag on the football field and will keep it displayed until the band finishes the Star-Spangled Banner. Near the completion of the song there will be a flyover of the Champaign Gal, a B-25 out of Urbana Ohio. We want to thank the AMVETS Post 333, American Legion Post 330, and the VFW post 8445 for sponsoring the flyover.
Wapakoneta City Schools is proud of the country we live in, and we are proud to honor these American Heroes.

Parents, We have been informed by the City of Wapakoneta that North Blackhoof Street will be closed from Silver Street to Stinebaugh St. starting tomorrow morning until at least Friday. You can use these alternative routes: Murray Street to Stinebaugh, Defiance to Stinebaugh, or the drop off that can be accessed from Redskin Trail at the high school entrance.
Reminder that if your student's final forms are still INCOMPLETE, they must be completed EACH YEAR PRIOR to the start of the school year. Please log in and complete all forms as soon as possible!!!! Please call 419-645-3038 with questions. Thank you!
I hope that you take a few moments to read over our Back to School Redskin Report. This newsletter has important information and dates regarding the 2025/2026 school year. Please mark your calendars for Teacher Name Pick Up day on Wednesday, August 6th from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm. Stop by the building to complete Final Forms, pay fees, drop off any medication, get lunch information, and find out your student's teacher!
