I hope that you take a few moments to read over our Back to School Redskin Report. This newsletter has important information and dates regarding the 2025/2026 school year. We look forward to seeing the students at schedule pick-up/teacher name pick-up on August 6, the Back-to-School Celebration on August 14, and the first day of school on August 19. CES families,
Please mark your calendars for Teacher Name Pick Up day on Wednesday, August 6th from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm. Stop by the building to complete Final Forms, pay fees, drop off any medication, get lunch information, and find out your student's teacher! Families, This is a reminder that we would like all transportation information to be updated in Final Forms by July 11. I know it may seem early, but we are already planning our bus routes for the upcoming school year. Thank you for your help with this!

4th Grade Families, You are invited to "clap out" 4th graders on the last day of school (Friday, May 23rd). If you choose to attend, you will stand in the entryway and clap out students as they exit Cridersville Elementary for the last time. Please arrive by 2:20 pm. DO NOT park in the front lot where the buses will need to pull in. If you attend and choose to bring your child home instead of riding the bus, you must notify the front office by noon. CES would like to congratulate our preschool graduates! We had a huge turnout to honor these sweet kiddos! #bebetter

CES is celebrating Field Day today and having a blast! Special thank you to Mrs. Stubbs for organizing the event and to the volunteers that are helping out! #bebetter

Our summer breakfast/lunch program will start June 3. If you are interested please read over the flyer and the attached documentation. The meals will be available every Tuesday from June 3 through June 23 for children 1 to 18. There is a limit of 7 per family and they can be picked up at Cridersville or Wapakoneta High School.

Last night at our school board meeting we honored five of our retirees. Wapakoneta City Schools would like to thank Michelle Law, Mark Koch, Scott Wilson, Michelle Roediger, and Jan Yinger for all that they have done for our school system, and most importantly our kids. Congratulations on your retirement, you will be missed!

Due to weather concerns, CES preschool graduation has been moved indoors to the CES cafeteria on Tuesday, May 20th at 9:00 am. We will do BOTH AM & PM classes during this time. If you have any questions, please contact either Miss Courtney or Miss Lindsay. Thank you!
