Every year the Wapakoneta Education Association sponsors a food drive in honor of Mrs. Barb Norton. Mrs. Norton was a teacher in the district for many year and was passionate about making sure that those in need had access to food for their families. She also LOVED a dress up day...so next week as we dress up for Red Ribbon Week we will remember her and pay tribute to her with the food drive.

NEXT WEEK IS RED RIBBON WEEK!
If your child chooses to wear a costume at WES or CES,
the costume must adhere to the guidelines sent home with students.

We are in need of someone who would work primarily with 8th graders at WHS in a tutoring capacity from about 7:45-1:45 each day for the remainder of this year. We would prefer someone with teaching certification but those with related experience or those who have completed some education courses would also be considered. The pay is $20 per hour. If you know of anyone that may be interested, all resumes can be sent to Patty Severt, 1102 Gardenia Drive or sevepa@wapak.org.

Looking to clear out the clutter & help a group out? In an effort to help start a Ping Pong club at WHS, we are reaching out to the community to see if there is anyone with a Ping Pong table to donate. Contact Mr. Pepple at 419-739-5240 or peppda@wapak.org if you can help

On Friday, the WHS Gatekeepers Welcome Committee hosted a Breakfast Bash to check in on new students to see how their school year was going so far.
