The Food and Culture’s class learned about life in Africa today from Acacia of Hope, a mission that provides clean water to people in Kenya. Michelle’s class has raised key to purchase 8 water filters so far this year. This means eight families in Kenya will receive clean and pure water for the next 10 years! The class is continuing to fundraise for the rest of the year. If anyone would like to donate they can contact Michelle Gearing at gearmi@wapak.org.
