Wapakoneta City Schools will be having school today after our 2 hour delay.
Our middle school students were treated to a special event, "book tasting" last week. Students entered the redesigned library where they found themselves in an Italian style diner. A registration table, menus, Mike's cheese bites, and most importantly a menu of books! Each student created a wish list with their top three choices after perusing the menu. Yesterday one of those top three books was "Doordashed" to their classroom for them to keep. We would like to thank Marty Eaton and all who helped to make this a special event for our fifth through seventh graders.
Little Skins cheer practice has been cancelled for tomorrow morning. It has been rescheduled to Monday at the high school from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.

We had a special drive by today at WMS, as we welcomed home one of our own; Ethan Jeanneret, a 7th grade student is returning home after a double lung transplant! Students and staff came outside to wave and greet Ethan. It was a great afternoon!

-Practices: Sat, January 11th from 10:30am to 12:00pm @ Wapak Elementary **Registration begins at 10:00am
-Thursday, Jan. 16th from 5:30-7:00 pm @ Wapak Elementary
-Performance: Jan 18th PreK-1st will perform halftime of JV Game & 2nd-4th Grade will perform halftime of Varsity Game.
