Picture Book creator Merrill Rainey visited CES & WES to present his stories and interact with our students. Merrill and other authors will be at the Grand Lake Area Literature Festival at Tri Star in Celina on Saturday. It's a great opportunity for students to grow their love of reading. CES would like to recognize 2 students for outstanding behavior: D'Nia Elliott Smith (4th) & Raymond Settlemire (1st). D'Nia is incredibly helpful and an active participant in Art class. Her teacher, Miss Belle, wanted to recognize her for being a positive leader in class. Raymond was recognized by our cafeteria staff for being helpful, as well as listening and following instructions. Great job D'Nia and Raymond! We are so proud of you! #bebetter
