Our summer breakfast/lunch program will start June 3. If you are interested please read over the flyer and the attached documentation. The meals will be available every Tuesday from June 3 through June 23 for children 1 to 18. There is a limit of 7 per family and they can be picked up at Cridersville or Wapakoneta High School.
Last night at our school board meeting we honored five of our retirees. Wapakoneta City Schools would like to thank Michelle Law, Mark Koch, Scott Wilson, Michelle Roediger, and Jan Yinger for all that they have done for our school system, and most importantly our kids. Congratulations on your retirement, you will be missed!

CES students and staff participated in the annual Wacky Walk this morning. Everyone dressed up in bright colors and walked laps around the building to promote exercise and healthy living! #bebetter
This week was National Police Week. We want to take a moment to personally thank our school resource officers, the Wapakoneta Police Department, our Sheriff's Office, and the Highway Patrol for all that they do for our community. We’re happy to welcome Kimberlie Cummings to Wapakoneta City Schools! A graduate of Elida High School, Kimberlie brings valuable experience from her time as a preschool teacher and in office administration. She has a heart for helping others and is excited to support students as they learn, grow, and work toward their dreams—especially one determined young racer who’s already practicing his skills in a wheelchair!
Kimberlie is a proud mother of four, grandmother of eleven, and great-grandmother to three precious grands. She enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing at the beach. We’re thrilled to have her kindness, dedication, and sense of humor on the team!
