About Us

Staying concurrent to their high school band motto, “Pride in Performance,” Impulse Drumline takes it a step further, competing with Excellence in Performance. Since 2008, Impulse has been comprised of the many faces of Wapakoneta High School and Wapakoneta Junior High 8th Grade classes. The group is comprised of students on a voluntary auditioned bases, meaning it is not required for the students to join, but if they sign up they are auditioned with everyone else. The drumline competes in the Ohio Indoor Performance Association throughout the state of Ohio beginning in February.
