While in high school in Wapakoneta, Neil Armstrong was involved in the band, orchestra, glee club, student council, and hi-Y. He was a member of the “Retrospect” staff, participated in the Junior Class Play and attended Boys State. If Neil were attending Wapakoneta High School today he would undoubtedly be a shining example of our vision statement to “be the leader in providing excellent learning experiences for our students.”
