High School Principal’s Report – March
The month of March has been filled with several outstanding events and important milestones for our students and staff. One of the highlights was our annual FFA Banquet, which continues to be a tremendous success. With over 300 attendees, the evening showcased not only a great meal but also the hard work, leadership and organizational skills of our students. The event was enjoyed by all in attendance. I would like to extend a sincere thank you to Mr. Brown and Mr. Sammetinger for their continued dedication and guidance with the program.
On March 10, all juniors participated in the ACT, an important step in their academic journey. We appreciate the efforts of our staff in ensuring a smooth and well-organized testing environment. At the same time, students in grades 9, 10, and 11 worked through the scheduling process for the upcoming school year. This is a critical time for students as they make decisions about their academic paths, and our counselors and teachers did an excellent job supporting them throughout the process.
To close out the month, our students took the stage to perform Disney’s Moana Jr., which was a tremendous success. The performances were well attended and truly showcased the talent, dedication, and hard work of our students. The cast and crew did a fantastic job, and the production was a hit with our community. A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Bailey and Mrs. Lewis for their leadership and commitment as co-directors of this wonderful production.
Overall, March has been a very successful month at the high school, filled with student achievement, engagement, and memorable experiences.
