Kids Helping Kids (RMH)
Kids Helping Kids
Even before Wapakoneta Elementary was built, elementary students have been raising money and collecting tabs for Ronald McDonald House of Greater Dayton. This year-long "Kids Helping Kids" program helps our students learn the value of giving back to the community and helps us all recognize that there are small ways we can help others in need. Individual classrooms do fundraising activities over the course of the school year. Familes and others organizations have donate to our cause each year. In the past few years, individual students have donated money that they raised on their own or recieved as a gift. As a culminating event each year the students participate in Ronald's Walk, a day of fun that includes relay races and a walking challenge.
