Happy Birthday to Abi Wingate and Kiarra Holtzapple.


If you would like to learn more about the GROB System apprenticeship program, sign up in the Guidance Office.  They will be here to give you more information on Wednesday, October 30 at 10:30.

 

The Dayton Dragons has ball tickets for sale.  Think about setting up a group and going to a game this coming summer.

 

The University of Dayton has a great ROTC program.  If interested in this college, check them out online.

 

There are many events being planned in our town.  There is a downtown event information sheet on the Guidance Office bulletin board.  Get one today!

 

If you are considering Bluffton for education, consider attending their educational event on Wednesday, October 30.  It's 9:30-2. See Mrs. Epperly with questions.

 

French Club members, please stop by and pick up a club t-shirt order form if you did not get one in the meeting. Money and orders are due on October 23rd!

 

Attention Students, come visit the library and check out the new books!  While you're here take a guess at the number of pumpkins in the jar. The person who guesses the closest will win a Wapak popsocket!  The winner will be announced October 31st.

 

Meetings

Stressed out?  Need a time out to relax?  Join Mrs. Epperly for yoga during RR on Friday, October 25th in the gym.  If interested, you need to sign up in the Guidance Office so you can be signed out of RR.  

 

Scholarships

If you plan to major in math or science education at Bowling Green State University, be sure to apply for their ACTION scholarship by January 15.  It's all done online!

 

Wright State University Lake Campus announces its WOEF scholarship package.  If you plan to attend the Lake Campus, be sure to register for their awards. They have a fall Open House planned for Thursday, November 21, 2019, from 4-7.  


Sports

If you’re interested in playing Softball at the JV or varsity level, sign up outside Mr. Sammons door. If your name is already on the list no need to sign up.  If it is not, sign up!!!!  


Attention all interested in swimming/diving this winter: A Parent or guardian and swimmer must attend annual meeting on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 6pm in the High School Cafeteria. One parent and Swimmer/Diver MUST ATTEND.


Attention athletes interested in Girls Junior High Basketball.  There will be three open gyms coming up:

Wednesday 10/16 from 5:00-6:00

Monday 10/21 from 5:00-6:00

Wednesday 10/23 from 5:00-6:00

All athletes must have their physicals and paperwork completed and turned in prior to attending.   Athletes may enter the gym doors at the back of the middle school and be picked up at the same area after open gym is over.
