Patty Severt graduated from Wapakoneta High School
in 1981. She received her associates degree
from Lima Technical College in Secretarial
Sciences. Her job for Wapakoneta City Schools
is answering the phones, processing correspondence
primarily for the superintendent, handle paperwork for
the Board of Education Meetings, and answer
questions for teachers and the public.

She decided to work for Wapakoneta City Schools when
she found out that there was an opening at the Board
of Education Office. She thought it was a
great opportunity for a career change and a new
challenge. She loves her new job and feels she
made the right decision. She's been with Wapak
since May of 1992. What she enjoys most about
her job is working on the computer to prepare the
correspondence for the superintendent's
office. The thing she likes least about her
job are the many interruptions through out the day,
but the fast pace makes the day fly by.
