Karla Wells is our Payroll/Insurance
Coordinator. Her job includes payroll
processing and management of group health plan
updates and enrollments.
Karla was the first Cridersville class to
graduate from Wapakoneta H.S. She also
attended Lima Technical College for additional
business courses while formerly employed at the City
Loan and Savings Co. in Lima.

Karla came to work for Wapakoneta City Schools in
October of 1988 because she wanted a position that
continued to focus on bookkeeping and computer usage
and offered more security than the banking industry
did at the time.
Some of the things she likes most about her job
are the ever-improving computer programs that are
being introduced to help streamline the work and the
pleasant people and surroundings in the new office
building. The least liked part of her job is
requiring employees to fill out so many forms.
