Deb Walls is a graduate of Sidney High School and
attended Edison State College. Deb is a
Certified EMIS Professional. She continues to
attend seminars and additional training for her
position.
One of Deb's responsibilities is for EMIS
(Educational Management Information System).
EMIS is reporting of district student/staff
information electronically transmitted to the Ohio Department
of Education. In addition to this, she handles
all sub calling for the district, Workman's
Compensation, Transitional Work Program, Assistant
to the Business Manager, has fiscal responsibilities
that include balancing the books at the end of each
month, verifying and creating tuition billings to
and from other districts, handling all open
enrollment paperwork, EMAD Coordinator, and is the
Human Resources Coordinator for the district and
greets visitors to the Administration Building.

The decision to work for Wapakoneta City Schools was
easy. This was an opportunity to work in the
system and make a difference for all students of
Wapakoneta City Schools. The position has
changed greatly since her employment in 1990.
The most enjoyable aspect of Deb's job is meeting
and talking to different people each and every
day. There are no two days alike!
