Don Arnett is a graduate of St. Joseph High School
(Wapakoneta) and has 36 years of educational
experience as a teacher, coach, Dean of Students,
Assistant Principal, Principal, and Assistant
Superintendent. He has held the position of
Business Manager of Wapakoneta City Schools Since
1996. Mr. Arnett's education includes a
Bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton in
1967 and a Master's degree in Educational
Administration in 1974. Mr. Arnett has in
excess of 37 graduate hours in Educational
Administration in addition to his Masters.
Mr. Arnett's goal in being Business Manager of
the Wapakoneta City Schools it to create a
learning-friendly environment for the students of
this school district. He does this by managing
the support system for the district, including
maintenance, transportation, food services,
secretarial, paraprofessionals, and all related
activities and duties.

During his career with the Wapakoneta City Schools, Mr..
Arnett has strived to improve the Wapakoneta School
District as one of the finest in Ohio, if not the
country. By researching "best
practices," Mr. Arnett attempts to implement
the "best of the best" in terms of pupil
and educational program support services that are
available. He has been able to do this within
the financial framework and means of the district
while contributing to the educational and financial
success of the district. "The most
challenging aspect of being Business Manager,"
according to Mr. Arnett, "is encountering the
many aspects and facets of my position. Every
day represents new challenges that are both exciting
and rewarding."
